What's this My Stuff stuff?
My Stuff appears as a radio main menu option when you register your radio at Reciva (but see note 2 below).
You can manage the content of My Stuff by logging into the Reciva webpage.
The new webpage at
http://radios.reciva.com provides a wider choice of organising the contents of My Stuff (including the creation of sub-folders and dragging a dropping streams/stations into those folders)
My Stuff provides access to personalised features:
My Stations - equivalent to My Favourites - a seemingly unlimited list of favourite stations which you can add from the Reciva database for quick access. Click the "add to My Stations" link which is shown for every station. Note that for radios with appropriate firmware, pressing the Reply button will add the currently playing station to the My Stations list.
My Streams - Your own personal database. Station stream urls which you can add independently of the official database streams. More information available
here
My Podcasts - podcast urls which you can add yourself. Usually requires the xml, php or the rss address. This is usually provided by the podcaster.
Depending on your particular radio, and firmware version, other items may also be located in My Stuff. These may include:
My History - a listing of the last 20 played stations
Third-party services - such as Mp3tunes, Pandora, etc. These appear as My Mp3Tunes, etc.
Notes:
1. The above items (apart from My History) are all stored on the Reciva servers.
2. You MUST have at least one entry in either your My Stations, My Streams or My Podcast facility on the Reciva website before My Stuff will appear on your radio following registration. YOu might also have to reboot your radio (remove the power at the wall, wait a few seconds, put the plug back in - not just usng the button on the device)
3. For radios with earlier firmware versions, it may be necessary to restart the radio after changing items in My Podcasts.
4. All content added to My Stations, My Streams and My Podcasts on the website are immediately available on your radio.
